Ways You Can Give to NMCCH
Your generosity helps provide safe homes, counseling, education, mentorship, spiritual guidance, and hope for children and families served by New Mexico Christian Children’s Home. There are many meaningful ways to support the mission of NMCCH, both today and for generations to come.
GIFT OPTIONS
Cash Gifts
One time gifts may be made securely online or by mail. Cash gifts provide immediate support for the daily needs of the children and families we serve, including housing, food, education, counseling, and spiritual care.
Monthly Giving
Recurring monthly gifts provide dependable support that helps sustain long term planning, daily operations, and ongoing ministry opportunities throughout the year. Monthly giving also allows NMCCH to better prepare
for future needs and continue serving children and families consistently.
Memorial & Honor Gifts
Celebrate or remember someone special through a gift made in their honor or memory. Memorial and honor gifts provide a meaningful way to recognize loved ones while supporting the mission of NMCCH. Acknowledgements may be sent to family members or loved ones upon request.
For questions about immediate giving opportunities, online donations, memorial gifts, matching gifts, or current ministry needs, please contact: Sylvia Poynor, Donor Accounts, donor.accounts@nmcch.org or call (575)-356-5372.
IMMEDIATE AND CONTINUING NEEDS
Everyday Items
Please consider shopping our Amazon wish lists for high-demand items that can be purchased and shipped to those in need at New Mexico Christian Children's Home.
Appreciated Assets
Donating appreciated stocks or securities may provide an impactful way to support NMCCH while potentially avoiding the need to sell assets directly. Many donors choose this option as part of their overall stewardship and financial planning. Gifts of appreciated assets can help provide long term support for the children and families served through the ministry.
Donor Advised Funds
You may recommend a charitable grant to NMCCH through your donor advised fund. This can be a simple and flexible way to support the ministry over time while remaining involved in your charitable giving decisions.
Charitable Distributions
Individuals age 70½ and older may choose to make Qualified Charitable Distributions, also known as QCDs, directly from an IRA to NMCCH. QCD gifts may provide tax advantages while supporting the mission of caring for children and families. Many supporters choose this giving option as part of their annual charitable planning.
IRA Charitable Giving
Retirement assets may provide another meaningful opportunity to support the mission of NMCCH through current or future charitable giving arrangements. Naming NMCCH within retirement planning can help create a lasting impact for future generations.
Planned Giving & Estate Gifts
You can create a lasting legacy by including NMCCH in your will, trust, or estate plans. Planned gifts help ensure future generations continue to receive care, guidance, education, and support. These gifts often reflect a family’s long term values and desire to make a lasting difference.
Beneficiary Designations
NMCCH may be named as a beneficiary of retirement accounts, life insurance policies, bank accounts, or other financial assets. Beneficiary designations are often simple to establish and may allow supporters to
continue impacting children and families well into the future.
Corporate Matching Gifts
Many employers offer matching gift programs that can multiply the impact of your donation. We encourage donors to check with their employer regarding available programs, as some companies will match charitable
contributions made by employees or retirees.
In Kind Gifts
Needed items may be donated through our Amazon and Walmart wish lists or by contacting our team regarding current ministry needs and opportunities. In kind gifts help provide practical support for the children, homes, programs, and daily operations of NMCCH.
For a confidential conversation regarding legacy and planned giving opportunities, please contact: Shae Gonzales, Director of Finance, finance@nmcch.org or call (575)-356-5372.
We encourage all donors to consult with their legal, tax, and financial advisors when considering charitable giving opportunities and estate planning decisions. Every individual and family situation is unique, and professional advisors can help determine the giving options that best align with your personal, financial, and charitable goals. New Mexico Christian Children’s Home does not provide legal, tax, or financial advice.
